About Daniel
I’m a project manager, designer, and fabricator with over 15 years of experience delivering immersive environments, theatrical installations, and high-end interiors across the United States and New Zealand.
I built my career in New York City’s most demanding creative industries, leading large-scale, design-driven projects for clients like Google, Samsung, Nike, and Barneys New York. Along the way, I’ve collaborated with visionary talents like Baz Luhrmann and Joanie LeMercier, and tackled unusual technical challenges — from building safe bridges across the Guggenheim gardens to install giant sculptures, to managing daylight-visible holographic installations, to orchestrating multi-city travelling VR exhibitions.
I bring a rare combination of hands-on fabrication expertise, technical design fluency, and strategic project leadership. Whether working with marionettes, zoetropes, CNC machining, VR environments, or live-action sets, I know how to translate creative vision into practical reality — delivering projects with precision, imagination, and care.
Since relocating to New Zealand in 2020 to be closer to family, I’ve earned my Licensed Building Practitioner certification and expanded my technical foundation with work on award-winning architectural projects, including Herbst Architects' Omata Beach House. Now based in Kerikeri and open to projects nationwide, I’m passionate about returning to large-scale immersive storytelling, combining craft and innovation to create extraordinary experiences.
