BAZ DAZZLED HOLIDAY FACADE
Barneys New York, 2014

Led technical design and construction of the Madison Avenue flagship's holiday facade for the "Baz Dazzled" collaboration with Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin. The installation extended the theatricality of the window displays onto the building's exterior, creating a cohesive and immersive experience.

  • Constructed two Juliet balconies on the second floor to feature live performances by the Luna and Solar Queens, integrating structural engineering with performance requirements.

  • Implemented large-scale decorative elements and lighting to unify the facade with the window narratives, enhancing the visual impact on Madison Avenue.

This project exemplified the fusion of architecture and performance art, pushing the boundaries of traditional retail displays.
